Used pallets are recovered from circulation, inspected and graded before reissue. The grading language used across the industry is not standardised, so 'grade A' from one supplier does not reliably mean the same as 'grade A' from another. We describe condition against your intended use instead of relying on a letter.
For port and warehouse operations, used timber makes sense where the pallet stays inside a controlled environment: internal movements, block-stacked storage, yard buffering, or short domestic runs where cosmetic condition is irrelevant.
Used timber becomes the wrong choice quickly when a pallet has to enter automated handling, cross a border in wood form, or carry a load that depends on the pallet's structural integrity being known.
Typical uses
- Internal warehouse and yard movements
- Block-stacked storage and buffering
- Short domestic distribution runs
- Non-critical, non-automated handling
Before you order
- Repaired pallets carry specific implications for international movements. Repair can affect whether existing treatment marking remains valid — this always requires checking against the destination's rules.
- Availability of any given size and grade fluctuates with what is actually recovered, so a used specification is rarely guaranteed indefinitely.
- Mixed grades slow trailer loading and can cause problems in racking; if consistency matters, say so at enquiry stage.
What we do not claim about this range
- We do not claim any used pallet is fit for export or for a specific load without assessment.
- We do not publish grade definitions as if they were an industry standard, because they are not.
- We do not guarantee continuous availability of a particular used specification.
