Pallet range
UK standard pallets — 1200 x 1000 mm
The footprint most widely used in UK domestic distribution, in new and used timber to an agreed specification.
Request a quoteThe 1200 x 1000 mm footprint is the workhorse of UK domestic distribution. It is the size most British warehouse racking, trailer floor planning and retail intake systems assume, which is why imported cargo arriving on other footprints is so often repalletised onto it at devanning.
For port-side operators, that repalletising step is the whole point. A container stripped at a devanning yard near Felixstowe, Southampton or Liverpool frequently arrives loose-loaded or on a non-UK footprint, and has to leave on something the receiving network can handle.
The footprint describes plan dimensions only. Board thickness, bearer count, deck coverage, entry type and overall height still have to be specified against the actual application.
Typical uses
- UK domestic distribution and retail intake
- Repalletising imported cargo at devanning
- Standard UK warehouse racking
- Trailer loading planned around UK floor dimensions
Before you order
- Confirm the receiving racking beam type and trailer floor plan before fixing a specification — the footprint alone does not settle it.
- 1200 x 1000 is a size, not a certification. If a pallet in this size leaves the UK in wood form, destination treatment requirements still apply and must be checked.
- Available in both new and used timber, with different consistency and lead time implications for each.
What we do not claim about this range
- We do not describe this size as an equivalent to, or a substitute for, any pooled or licensed pallet system.
- We do not publish load ratings for this or any other footprint.
